his music is simply amazing. I don't know if your a fan of his stuff, but just sit down one day and listen to the craftsman ship and skill that went in to each one of his songs. thriller, the best album of all time, has sold over 100 million copies world wide. it featured 7 billboard number 1 hits. thats amazing. MJ's been a star since a little boy with the jackson 5. people watched him grow up, and evolve from a little prodigy to the greatest entertainer ever. many people feel like the know him and grew up with him. so in his recent death, the feel like they lost a part of their own childhood. hope that helps.
