Can I go back and look at my messages on my old phone?

I gave it to my cousin and im not shure if hes used it or not , I want to go back in the messages and get peoples numbers can i do that?. If so where do i go , It was a verizion phone . If i cant is there anyway to get the messages if the phone isn`t activated anymore?.

if the messages have not been deleted, then yes. Go to your text messages inbox, or view your contacts list if it is still there.

If nobody has deleted the messages, then yes…you can go into your inbox and look at them. Text messages generally stay on the phone, even after the phone is no longer activated.

You can try and ask your cousin for the phone and check it for yourself. Ussually things do stay on it even when it’s not in service anymore, I have had phone like that and it does save it. So you should be able to. You can meaby go to the website and check out the accoun too, sometimes you can check the massages there too.

Im talking about like go online and look at them. Like if the phone isnt activated can i still go online and look at the messages , If so how do i do that?.
