I am a Quaker and we spend some time in silent worship which is a lot like meditating. I tried a meditating yoga class but i got bored! Didn't want my mind to necessarily be empty. Open, yes, but not empty. But meditation certainly can be helpful to many people both mentally and physically, like lowering blood pressure.
If i ever had the time i would, but chasing around a 2 year old doesnt give me much free time. Even when he naps i have to shower and get things done. I used to try when i was pregnant the first time, but im very easily distracted and have an extremely hard time clearing my mind.
I used to. When I was a musician I thought it helped me with nerves and performance anxiety when I had auditions, recitals, or juries.
I keep thinking I should try it again to see if it helps me but I'm just too busy and disorganized to fit it in now.
I do it ones a day, and one day out of the week I do it 11 times, It hard to that 11.
I use to bah, I need to start doing it again XD
