Meaning of life

Nobody has a clue what life is supposed to mean. We’re supposed to figure that out. Sometimes I think it’s not supposed to mean anything, that it’s just our way of thinking that makes us feel like it’s necessary to have a meaning. I don’t think you can help your cousin in any real way except being around him and talking to him. He needs professional psychiatric help.

Cutting your wrists doesnt mean you’re trying to kill yourself… Most self harmers know better than to attempt suicide this way (seriously not a reliable way) So are you sure it was a suicide attempt, or a behavior than makes him feel better?

Either way, he needs to see a therapist. If he cuts then something is wrong. If he’s tried to kill himself, then urgent help is important…

You cant give him a meaning to life. Life is about living, being alive… and that has to be worth it. If it isnt, then again, something is wrong… Try and get him to see a therapist…

ohh the cutting phase many adolesents have gone thouugh it ( including me ) but like the girl above said everyone was pit on the wonderful earth for a reason … he just does not know why he is here… yet .. eventually he will feel more comfortable in his skin he will stop cutting and think back why the heck did I ever do that … but I would recomend telling a parent a teacher or whomever you confide with to help your dear cusin because cutting is a life or death situation …
