what is the maximum number of hours you want to work each week?

What could i answer to that ‘no more than 49 hours’ or ‘no more than 50 hours’ or more than 50 hours’

Answer #1

it wass 40 instead of 49.

Answer #2

I would write, between 40-50 hours. That way you let them know that you are willing to work fulltime and over time if its needed.

Answer #3

Depends on the job.

If its something merely tolerable and mainly to pay the bills, then I’d personally put no more than 40 hours. Else you will get burnt out eventually.

If its something that’s exciting or interesting, then the sky’s the limit.

Answer #4

From a financial stand point it is based on the hourly rate. This is because if you can be as close to the next tax bracket without going over. so if you make $16.00 per hour then you don’t want to work more than 40. This would be due to the fact that once you hit 34K then you jump to the 25% tax bracket rather than the 15%. If you make $12.00 an hour and get time and a half for overtime then you don’t want to work more than 51 hours per week.
