Answer #1

Okay thank you!

Answer #2

Not quite. I use to suck at math, but now its one of my favorite classes. I love these problems too.

Answer #3

First multiply the 2 with the stuff in the first set of parentheses:

8a+10

then add the other stuff

8a +10+3a+3=68

combine like items

11a +13 = 68

subtract 13 from each side

11a = 55

divide each side by 11

a = 5

Answer #4

hey just mail me if u have any math questions cuz im in 8th grade and in algebra 4, so i pretty much know the ropes! i luv helping w/math so any more questions just let me know!

Answer #5

ok ill help you on this if you need it. 2(4a+5)+3a+3=68. distribute the 2 into the parentheses, or– multiply 2 times everything inside the parentheses. 2 x 4a= 8a. 2x5 =10. 8a+10+3a+3=68. COLLECT TERMS. 8a+3a=11a 10+3=13 so, 11a+13=68 subtract 13 from each side so the variable (a) will only be on the left side. 11a+13=68 -13 -13 11a=55 divide both sides by 11 so you will get ‘a’ by itself. 11a=55 — — 11 11 a=5.

yayyy! (:
