Is masturbation right or wrong?

I am so confused, I am 13 years old. Is it consisdered wrong to put a showerhead on your clitt? Does the Bible say it is a sin? Please help me.

Look girl God has much more important things to do, then to keep you under surveillance to see if you are sinning in your bedroom or shower. As a matter of fact God wants you to enjoy yourself, that’s why he (she) made sex so enjoyable. If reproduction were a commandment there would be nobody here on Earth. By making it fun God has insured that we would successfully reproduce. It worked so well that now we can’t stop the human population explosion. Masturbation helps the world by reliving the reproduction urge without potential babies.

I think the only person who would tell you mastur bation (separated it so it wouldnt be edited) is wrong would be a catholic preist because they have strange veiws on sex. but priests as we all know are rather immoral in their own right. personally I say mastur bation is rather healthy, granted you dont do it too often, such as 6 times a day. chances are youd get sore if you did it that often anyway. and theres no reason why you should feel bad about it, somtimes I feel dirty afterwards, but so it goes. enjoy being human, and learning about life. : D

Answer #3

In reality, it can’t be clearly said that the act of masturbation is in itself a sin, for the Bible never uses the word, nor does it imply or hint about the act of masturbation. Obviously, the Bible deals in some depth with sexual immorality, perversions, and the like, but masturbation is never spelled out as belonging to any particular category.

There are no Biblical passages which specifically address the issue of masturbation; so, as with other issues (such as food, drink, entertainment choices, etc.), The Bible has allowed latitude within certain boundaries. Within those boundaries, masturbation could (and I believe, should) be seen as a healthy way of relieving the sexual tension that builds up in teenagers.

You’re not going to hell for masturbating. It’s actually healthy and good for you! So have fun with that showerhead!

I have asked many people the same question, and each one says that masurbaton is NOT wrong. And each one of those people are Christians. I don’t recall hearing anything in the bible about it being wrong. I personally DO NOT believe it is wrong.

Hope that helped. ~Valearia

Answer #5

When the Bible was written only clitt was known but the showerhead not. So you can freely put in onto your clitt if you enjoy it. But never use animals for sex, bacause that is really a sin.

Answer #6

I believe mastu rbation in the bible is alluded to as “self abuse”. You have to look it up and decide for yourself. Pretty sure everyone does it though. :)

Answer #7

Pshaw. Thats normal, all girls do that.

If you feel okay when you do that, and you don’t feel its wrong, do it! But if you feel guilty, maybe wait until you are older, or until you find some information out. Good luck.

Answer #8

yeah, it is healthy. everybody does it at one point in there lives anyway.

Answer #9

If masturbation is wrong aint we all going to hell lol

Answer #10

the only problem that christians tend to have with mastrbation is the idea that you may be thinking about a person or people in particular while you are doing it. i would recommend reading “every young woman’s battle” but taking the information it gives you with a grain of salt if you are an openminded christian, because a lot of people tend to look too closely for all the ways we are doing things wrong. there is nothing physically wrong with mastrbation as long as you are taking care of yourself otherwise. as a christian, it is just also important that you keep your mind pure.
