How do you get married in the sims two?

and can you get married in a public place or does it have to be at your house and how do you get prepared, and set everything up?

let the two characters build up passion, do stuff with the other character but dont speed things up, get the love into a high level, get a double bed, “woohoo”, wait until the option “propose” or “engage” appears, click the alter and let the wedding start!

You build up their relationship until they’re in love, then you should get an option when you click on the person to propose.

Then, after you propose, they can move in.

Next, you use the phone…and select “Throw party>wedding” or something like that. Then invite the people that you want at the wedding. It should say something about guests are coming. So, then…you go to the buy catalog and get all your wedding things. The arch, chairs, tables, balloons, cake, wine, music, etc… that you need at the party and set it up however you want it. (I usually set it up outside).

After you get it all set up, wait for the guests to arrive. Eat, drink wine, dance, etc… and before the party ends…go to the arch and select “get married”…or something. Then they will go, and get married under the arch, while the guest stand or sit in around it cheering it on! :]
