Weve been doing about differnt religions and marriage at school so im just wondering what everyones thoughts on marriage are?
To be honest I think that marriage was something that was invented years ago to make sure that women stayed under mens control. I think that in some religions marriage is very sexist although people are more open minded nowadays and marriage is not seen as a necessity and a licence to have children and sex without being frowned upon. And this isn't really related to this but I'd like to ask why in the "popular questions related to thoughts on marriage are" section there is a question that says "how to make women squirt" whats the world coming to in the famous words of Fleetwood Mac.
I think if two people are in love they should marry. But also, marriage is just a piece of paper. Having a successful relationship without the safety net of marriage I think is a greater achievement. But by love, I mean absolute worship for one another. I think there aren't too many people out there like that. I'm afraid of marriage, if it were me I'd be deathly afraid to lose something.
I think too many people rush in to marriage hence the ginarmous divoce rate in the uk. Badically if you get married your gona get divorced. So I think wots the point in the first place. Over here the averae wedding costs £23.000!! and if your just gona get divorced a couple a years later wots the point!! There isnt any!
If two people want to make that commitment, go ahead. Sometimes though, I don't see the point in it when people just get divorced.
Marriage is something that should be available to anyone. It's supposed to be about love.
