Muhammad Ali fought at Heavyweight, at 6 foot 3 inches with an 80 inch reach. At mhis best he was unbeatable by any western style boxer in the world.
Manny Pacquiao fights up to Light Middleweight, is under 5 foot 6 inches tall with a 67 inch reach, if he could beat the best in any of the higher weight divisions, he would already have done so.
If they could have met in a boxing ring when they were both at their best, and they both tried their best, Pacquiao would not have got close enough to land a proper punch, and the fight would have been stopped in the first round if Ali had not already finished the job with a lethal punch.
It would have been like expecting a Cheetah to fight a Siberian Tiger.

Muhammad Ali was a great boxer of older times and Manny was also good in his times. So, don't think they can be compared. Still i feel Muhammad Ali would have been a bit more better
i think they would had an equal chance of beating each other.. but if it were to happen it would be fight of the decade (probably centrury)
I think we all forget that muhammad ali could only knock opponents out with his right hand while Manny can hit with his left and right.
they're both great boxers at their times, but i guess manny would win over him.
my dad said muhammad ali, though he's a fan of pacquiao. lol
definitely muhammad ali in like the first 30 seconds, hahah.
no, Muhammad Ali was faster and stronger, a better fighter.
