male rats.

I have 2 male rats one I’ve had for 2months before and I got another male rat to keep him company but the new rat only seems to be staying in the corner even when my other rat isnt in the cage ..please help

buy a female rat!

The other male rat(s) may be fighting with him. He may be scared. Males don’t usually get along unless they are from the same litter or they where together sice they were in the pet shop.

get a female rat if you want to have 14 babies or more every 2 weeks… I have 2 males and 2 females, but in seperate cages…he will adjust…
