What is the male haircut where the sides and back are short or close shaved, and the top is a bit longer where they can spike it?

Does anyone know what the hair cut is called? I would like to look it up, and see how to cut it that way.

Answer #1

I think it’s referred to as “short back and sides”. My parents are both hairdressers and whenever they talk about a cut like that that’s what they call it.

we just call that “A Marines Cut…” you got high or low (high for more hair on top & low for less hair on top) Then again everyone calls it something else! Just ask you local hair dresser what they refer to it as. ;) <—(wink)

Answer #3

Well, sounds like you’re talking about a classic cut. Look at my picture and if it looks like that then yes.
