How can I get my makeup to stay on longer?

The colors in my eye shadow fade within a few hours.

Answer #1

this is normal, over time the makeup goes with sweat. Pass some cream that leaves your skin dry and then pass the makeup.

Answer #2

try using a primer ?

Answer #3

Dab your eyeshadow brush in water until its damp and rub it in your eyeshadow. It will create “wet eyeshadow” which lasts longer. Also you can buy brigher or longer lasting things like MAC or Sephora. the cheaper the makeup the less it stays. Cream eyeshadow will clump up around the creases of your eye lids.

Answer #4

Get an eye primer. I’ve heard good reviews about Urban Decay Primer Potion, Two Faced Shadow Insurance, and Loreals De-Crease Primer(I think that’s what it’s called)

Answer #5

i would recomend to you to get the too faced shadow insurance (i use that) urban decay primer potion. (you can get these at ulta) or ulta.com. also loreal primer decreaser is one where you can get at a drug store. or you can get high brand ones such as one called ombre from lancome (i think thats what it is called ombre) also maybe one from MAC makeup. hope this helped:)

Answer #6

Wear light moisturiser ( simple products are good for sensitive skin ) this will act as a great base coat and will make your make up last longer as well.

Answer #7

you can also use a large fluffy blush brush and dabb it into your top or compact powder then blot it over the entire face..this will effectivly make it remain on the face longer

Answer #8

Put a dab of concealer under your eyes and on your eyelids to keep eyeliner and eyeshadow from running.
