Make up for dark brown eyes

What eye make up would be best to bring out dark brown eyes? I hate how my eyes are so dark, they almost look black in some pictures. =[ Is there any way to help this?

honestly, the biggest mistake people with brown eyes make is going overboard. they think that because their eyes are dark that they need to over due it on eyeshadow to make their eyes stand out, not true.

I find that the prettiest thing to do with brown eyes, is contour the eyes using different shade of brown. it makes the eyes stand out without look ridiculous (bright blue and pink dont show off your eyes, but your eyelid lol).

to contour your eye try this: get a palette of eyeshadows with four different shades. I use channel (its worth the money!). 1)line your lids with eyeliner

  1. use the medium colored eyeshadow all over the lid to the crease of your eye
  2. use the 2nd darkest color and make a line in the crease of your eye (make sure to blend!)
  3. use the darkest color and make a thinner line in your crease and blend, also dabble the darker color at the outer corner of your eye (and blend!)
  4. use the lightest color on your brow bone, and in the inner corner of your eye, but make sure to blend so it looks nice and not powder
  5. two coats of mascara and your all set =]

purple and blue are the best colours to make brown eyes stand out green could work as well avoid brown as that will makw them look duller you could also try black or outline with black eyeliner and use blue/purple eyeshadow

try using a shimmery purple to your lid and lower lashline and a white to put it in the inner coners of your eye. Also put on mascara and a white eyeliner to make your eyes seem bigger and more awake.

my eyes are dark brown like your eeverybody comments on them sayin there come to bed eyes ( I aint complaining lol) I use really bright colours like a bright pink or a bright blue but I also use a lot of mascara and eyeliner as well

well try to put a light color of your choice.. I have bright steel blue eyes, and I have to use a dark cololr to bring them out or the blue eyeliner to bring them out, but it is a little bluer than my eyes.
