child development or elementary teacher?
It's good to take some classes in the subjects you'll be teaching later, but you don't need to major in them, because you'll only be teaching them at a 2nd grade level. Best to major in elementary education, if it's available; otherwise, psychology (with a focus on child development). I like Kaitlyn's idea of taking classes in children's literature, too; sounds fun!
you would major in elementary education, my cousin is in going to school to be a 2nd grade teacher to(: it also depend on your grades to. like if there lower you might prefer to take classes on child development, child psychology, and things like children’s literature. hope this helped some! :D
Your 'major' entirely depends on what you plan of teaching.Your major should be in the subject which you plan to teach. You should go for 'Child Development'.
depends- Want to be a bio teacher? Major in biology. English teacher? Major in english, and so on.
