Madonna piercing question

I’m getting a madonna piercing tomorrow. What’s the difference between a 14g and a 16g? What kind of jewely is there to choose from? How long does it take to heal? I heard a 14g takes less time to heal… What’s the proper after care for it? I’m not scared of the pain, I just had a few questions before it was done :)

it takes roughly 2-3 months to heal and the type of jewlery depends on where you are getting it pierced cause different places have different jewlery. just a post with some stud usually

14 gauge is bigger then a 16 gauge. the lower the gauge number gets, the bigger the stud or ring is. 00 is the biggest gauge, then after that it goes to inches. for monroe/madonna piercings they usually use a 16 gauge ring

yeah, 14 gauge is beigger than 16 a godd gauge to start wiht is 16 gauge the the average of most facial peircings on average it takes about 3 months to heal you can choose from titanium or surgical steel usually and you can choose to have a labret with a ball or spike, balls with a diamond cost a bit extra or you can have the ring in it if its closer enough to your lip make sure your school allows facial peircings if you go to one, otherwise youll have to take it out and make sure you want it if you decide to take it out later on youll be left with a smal pimple sized scar that will only fade with time
