Mac problems

I have a new mac book and it keeps shutting down on me. Help!!!

Instead of asking us for help, with it being new its probably better to contact customer support.

If a macbook pro / or regular mac shuts down, there are a few common things that can cause this:

  1. hard disk - if that’s the case, you’ll need a new one OR you’ll need to replace the whole computer
  2. other driver / motherboard issue - I had a fried circuit that sounded awefully similar, and yep, had to get a whole new computer.
  3. software update - you should always try this, first, before anything else.

If it’s not the software or a bad battery though (does it stay on when plugged in?) then you’ll need to take it to a specialist to see if it’s a hardware issue that needs fixing.
