Honestly I would say that if he’s married I would back off, its not fair to his wife imagine how you would feel if you were in her shoes, and its not fair to you. He shouldn’t be sending you mixed signals in the first place when he has a ring on his finger. From what you wrote he’s trying to keep his wife with you on the side, which is wrong.
