How could you share your life with someone without loving them?

I just broke up with my boyfriend after 3 years, living together for 2. I loved him, but he never could say it, he said he didn’t use those words any more, all he could ever say was “I care about you deeply” Just somebody explain this too me, how you can be with someone for so long, and share your entire lives together and not love them.

hmm he might have had a rough childhood, or parent that were not very affectionate with him. he stayed with you for that long, so he must have loved you, some people just have trouble saying that.

hmm thats odd maybe in the past he loved some one and he got hurt really badly and he doesnt want to say those 3 words again unless he knows for sure he wont be hurt again.

Well, at least he cares for you. I guess he’s just in the middle of liking you and loving you. But he must care for you enough to live with you.
