I asked this guy out the other day and all he said was a very long UUUMMM. by the way yes (I’m a girl) what does that mean when a guy says UUUMMM? and then theres this other guy named joseph and I can’t get him to stop staring at me during class. what do I do? he keeps looking down my shirt and its disgusting. how do I let him off and keep it that way but do it nicely?

The “ummm” usually means the person isn’t sure about it. And as for the boy starring at your chest just say “could you please stop starring at my chest, it makes me uncomfortable”. Once he knows you know hes starring he’ll most likely stop.

he isn’t sure what to say or getting himself into so you need to either emotionally or physically make him happy
