You can loose 5 lbs but not all weight is equal. It would be very difficult to loose 5 lbs of fat in a week. That would require a caloric deficit of 24,500 calories. Even if you are almost nothing it would require hours of exercise/day. If you are talking about loosing 5 lbs of a combination of fat, muscle, waste and water than that can be done.
You can lose 5 pounds in a week your averaging about losing one pound a day, if you eat right and exercise you can lose up to 7-10 pounds in a week.
