Wow…

Ok this is what you should do… research shows that you don’t start burning fat until after the first 10 minutes of exercise. (the first 10 minutes will draw on your most current meal. it will burn the sugars and the carbs.) You should be jogging for at least 15 minutes to be burning any fat at all. Try to cover at least a mile (should be very easy to do in 15 minutes, you can probably walk the entire distance)

Sit ups will not help you lose belly fat as you already know.

for breakfast, eat something with a lot of fiber like a bran cereal with a teaspoon of flax seeds in it, and drink juice to help jump start your metabolism and help your digestive system. This will also help to maintain a healthy cholesterol level.

For lunch, eat some fruit, or a salad… I was watching a segment on Discovery Health last night, and they measured out two different meals with the same about of calories… the first meal, was a hotdog, some potato chips and a coke, and the second meal was an entire table full of fruit, two salads, fruit juices a vegetable tray, crackers… it was so much, you’d have trouble eating it all in one day. The fruit table actually was 300 calories less than the hotdog, chips and coke.

Don’t eat fast food, and try not to eat a whole lot of meat. Have nuts or dark green leafy vegetables instead. If you like meat, try not to have it more than once a day or every couple days.

Pay attention to the things you put into your body. Make healthy choices. Since healthy foods are less in calories you can eat more of them and still lose weight.

This site sponsored by Nike and Ipod has several different training routines to help you work up to running 25 minutes in 12 weeks. this is what I used and I started feeling really good about myself and actually started to look forward to my daily run after about 2 weeks. (I used to HATE running). I never use scales either, but my clothes started fitting better really fast.

it doesn’t matter how long you run, but how far? like for track conditioning we run 5 miles the first day, and then we add a mile everyday, on saturday we swim and on sundays we go to the weight room.

if you’re trying to lose a lot of weight run about 3 miles and then every night you go back out to run, run as long as you can until you get tired. if you keep up with this running 3 miles will be so easy to you and you’ll be able to run more and more and you will lose weight trust me.

I don’t do scales at all!! I go by how I feel in my clothes :)

im doing less than a mile at the mo as just started im 24 im over weight.. only by 2 stone im doing a normal steady jog nothing to fast!!! I just want to tone up, loose some belly fat.

wjat would I have to do to get this?

Answer #5

How many mile are you covering? How old are you? Are you over weight? How fast are you running?

Hate to burst your bubble but muscle weight more than fat so you probably won’t notice a difference to the scales for a long time. It’ll tone you up aright and is really good for you - don’t be so facinated about the weighing scales. If your clothes fit and you look and feel good

Answer #6

if you cut out wheat and dairy then what would you have for breakfast and dinner and tea? thats would be so hard!

how long did you cut it out for?

Answer #7

that only tightens the muscle behind the fat!
