I don’t think it really matters. Just on the day your getting your hair dyed, don’t use anything that can damage it like straighteners or curlers. They burn your hair and with the chemicals in the dye, they can really damage it.
So I shouldn’t use a flatiron on that day? And I use hair wax as well, so I shouldn’t use that either? Is that right
No it’s better not too. Too much heat + chemicals = breakage which damages hair. Yes I don’t think you should use hair wax either, not because it will affect the dye but it’s known to clog pores and slows hair growth which can then damage your hair. The less chemicals your hair receives on the day, the better. Dye itself has a lot of chemicals. So it’s better not to use any type or hair products on the day I’d say.
