How long is the life of a computer?
I mean if im careful with an antivirus and everything my computer can last a long time or just have a limited time just like people will have to change their computers every 2 or 3 years or their computers can last longer? Tell me what you think thank you.
My last laptop lasted a year, it was an expensive, new one and it was protected with anti virus. It depends on how often you use it i think.
A computer is of many, many components.
I mean while the CPU, GPU and motherboard might last forever, teh sound card could break after 1 day.
But if you keep your anti-virus, firewall etc up-to-date you will have many, many years of happy computing. Parts are so well made now that you’ll have to reinstall the operating system before parts start breaking.
My mate hs still got a Windows ME PC from 2001 and it still works. He’s installed the OS about 70 times but it’s still going.
