How long should i date my boyfriend before thinking about sex?

There’s no time limits for this. It doesnt work that way. You have sex when you’re ready. And honestly, at 14, I think you’re a little young.

There is no certain amount of time. It should happen when your both ready, when you care for and respect each other, and when you have protection and a backup plan and know the consequences of not using them.

Hold it! There IS a time limit when you are that young. At least in my opinion a lot of young people are having sex too soon. Just because you are phisically able to it doesn’t mean that you are emotionally ready for it.

What if you get pregnant, what if you break up (which it will probably will happen) There is a world fool of things that can go wrong and if you two really care about each other that much and think you will be together in the future then there’s really no reason to rush. You can wait until you are both not only phisically but mentally and emotionally ready for it.
