long, dark, thick, single hair

alright so about a month ago I noticed a hair on my chin described in the title I plucked it and now its growing back again it seems like it grows faster then other hairs. any ideas of what it is?

It’s normal. A single hair on your chin isn’t much to go by, but taken along with the fine hairs on your upper lip there’s something of a pattern.

The general progression when hair growth is in response to testosterone is for fine, short, unpigmented hair to develop into longer, then colored, then coarser hair.

It looks as if you’re in the very earliest stages of developing a potential moustache.

The best way of measuring how significant the growth is is to shave it and see how long it takes till you have to remove the hair again.

Once a month is deemed normal for a female. Once a week is deemed heavy for a female/very light for a male Once a day is deemed very heavy for a female/normal for a male
