How long will a box hair dye last overtop of bleached hair?
A while back i bleached my hair and got some blonde highlights (its naturally dark brown) and i want to box dye it dark brown again, is it worth it?

i think that depends on the color you’re putting in your hair, if you’re using dye that contains ammonia, and how well you follow the instructions on the box.
Going dark does not damage your hair as badly as bleach does. In fact, many hair stylists recommend it. Follow the directions carefully and you should be happy with the results.
You should watch out for your hair to go a greenish purple gray color. It is never a good idea to put brown on top of bleach. Even more so when it is a box dye. It is something you need to get to slowly. Dye your hair every 6 weeks 2 shades darker until you get the color you want. Otherwise you may end up with funky tones, breakage, brittle hair, ect.
