Do you listen to music more often on radio or your portable mp3 player?

I heard a former radio DJ complain about the decline of radio both as a medium for news and information, and as a way of getting music and entertainment. But I’m not sure it’s true. I think lots of people still listen to radio despite the popularity of iPods and other devices. But what about you? What do you usually listen to?

Answer #17

It’s weird… but whenever I’m listening to a portable device… I miss the occasional interruption of the DJ and though to a lesser extent… I miss commercials. I feel disconnected from the rest of the world. It depends on what I am engaged in as well. If I need to concentrate… less interruptions are preferrable… otherwise the isolation can interfere with enjoying the music.
