Will Limewire give me viruses?

lots of programs you can get on limewire contain viruses.. especially in their zip/rar files. but for downloading general songs its quick and easy =)

limewire is great and it doesnt give virus I been using limewire for 4years and no virus has appear you get to download tons of stuff you like!!

SHUT UP who cares “stealing song” wtf who cares and it slows it down and can give you a virus I got a new computer and wouldnt download it haha use your friends omputer like I do and ruin theres haha

dont download .zip files… be sure to look for exactly what you want… zip files that are about 200kb are always infested with viruses.

Its illegal, don’t rip musicians off like that.

Limewire is a full of viruses. I find more viruses in limewire downloads than in any others . . spend 99 cents on amazon or yahoo and save a trip to the computer shop.

Okay… Well… Lime wire is illegal. And wrong And terrible Might as well go out and steal the songs from the recording studio because using limwire is stealing artists songs. If Kelly Clarkson or what ever found out yuu were using lime wire… SHE WOULD HATE YUU. STEALING MUSIC IS WRONG

I’m not about to go on about how illegal or how wrong it is to use these programs such as ARES and LIME WIRE to get free music from, But.. If you ARE using them Don’t be too suprised if you’re computer begins to slow down and not run as smooth as it did when you first bought it. You have to keep in mind that these prgrams are made to share files with people all over the world, And this means that everytime you download a song, You are gathering the audio files from other’s computers, This means that since viruses are sneaking and can cling onto almost any file, That it is VERY likely that out of hundreds of songs, You have snagged one that came from an Infected computer. Ok, You might say “Big deal, One virus” But in reality, Viruses grow and grow and grow, And never stop, I don’t recomend using these, But since you are. You might want to consider using some REALLY good firewall and virus blocker

if i had spent 99 cents on every song or 10 dollars for a movie, id be wayyy past 800$ worth. and i still have no virus.
