Yes, it can cause your computer to crash and it gives you viruses. I have Limewire but I very rarely use it - most of the files are fake and not what you want aswell so it’s a lot safer to use a website like www.beemp3.com or something like that :)

I always use limewire and you only get viruses if you open the downloaded file befor scaning it just right click on the file and scan and is it has a virsus do not open it but every thing I normally get is fine

If you want to remove it completely from your computer just follow this. Okay, go to -

Start All programs Control panel

Then click on ‘Add or remove programs’. When the box appears wait for the list of programs to load. When it does scroll down the list until you see ‘Limewire’ - click on it and a grey box should surround it - at the right-hand side it says ‘remove’ - click on that and follow the links to uninstall it :)

blah yeah it messed up my computer :/ so now I just use a youtube mp3 converter which you can download for free. just look up ‘high quality youtube mp3 converter” and yeah lol it works wonders, slower than limewire but wont give you viruses.

Yes and no. Some of the files do contain viruses, but like larlarland said, just scan the file with your anti-virus software before you download anything.

Only if you download a bad file. You just need to know what to download and what not to download. I wasn’t careful and I ended up with a trojan.

I reccomend only downloading songs off limewire because.. I have seen what I can do from my relatives,,, So download songs that are from many hosts;correct spelling and capitalized; and last but not least about t9 or higher
