Who here likes Lefsa? I love lefsa but haven't had it since I was 17. :(

Its a soft Norwegian flatbread made from mashed potatoes and some flour. It is really good, people eat it different ways. Some like butter and sugar others like just butter. There is probably more ways to eat it, I just ate it with butter. It is very delish!

Sounds to meh like a pelmeni, a Russian dumpling with potatoes and onions sometimes. I just had some last night, mmmm yummyyy.

A Perogie, and they are similar. The main difference is that Pelmeni are smaller, rounder, and usually only contain meat such as beef or lamb. A Perogie on the other hand, is flat, large, and usually contains vegetables. Both are Slavic by origin, but it’s how you serve it and what’s inside that makes the name change. In some cases, we call them Vareniki as well, but that always makes me think of a dumpling filled with jam(varenya - jam filling)

I’m hungry now. Darn you! I still have some left over, they’re great when you spread bits of barely and butter on them. Mmmm. My mouth is watering, but that could be because I just got done drinking water after spending 10 minutes peeling potatoes. I’m a fast peeler. :)

Depends, do you want to? I also have estrogen shots that inject you with estrogen which makes you grow boobs faster. ;) My sister told me if I drank Soy Milk, I’d grow boobs from the estrogen inside soy products.

I have, but my Mom who is Norwegian used to make it. I asked her about it but in order for it to turn out right you have to have the right type of grill and a lefsa stick. We have the stick but not a round grill to grill it on. I don’t know she said it’d be better until we can get that.

Oh well then, drink more soy milk :D. I think i would like both the steroids and the estrogen shots, please and thank you.
