How do I lighten my hair just a tiny bit? My friend wanted to know (she has medium brown hair) and asked me to post a question on this site.

There is no colour (dye) that will lighten hair. You have to powder bleach it up a shade. If she has medium brown hair, I would say shes about a 5 on the colour chart which means she will have a red/orange reflect. Lightening only 1-2 shades is difficult and you shouldn’t do it yourself. You will get some bits lighter than others and you won’t get an all over smooth finish without a salon’s help. Since she has red/orange in her reflect, she may end up with ginger bits if you guys do it yourself.

u can buy this stuff u spray in ur hair before u go out in the sun and if ur out there a couple hours every day ur hair will turn a lighter coulor
