light skin

so I have light colored skin thanks to my american mom. and I want to dye my hair. my natural color is like a dark blonde/light brownish.. I hated the color. and like six weeks ago I dyed it a real pretty mocha color it was like a real settle red brown. pretty close to my natural color, like you can barely tell, so now I want to dye it darker.. so you can tell I dyed it, but I don’t know what color I should do.. any ideas?

I would go to your hairdresser (maybe during the next time you have it cut) and ask for recommendations, as they will have little dye samples on hair that you can hold up next to your face too. Once you know the kind of shade that will suit you then you can buy a home dye in a similar colour. There is no need to tell them you want to dye it yourself when you go in, just say you are thinking of dyeing it and they will help you, then after you can say you will go away to think about it :)

I think that is your best bet as we can’t see you to recommend something that will definitely suit your skin tone.

you should get dark brown/ reddish.

but more red than brown.
