Do you think I should lie for my friend?

Literally :D It depends on the lie and the reason for it. What happens to your friend if you don’t?

No, don’t lie for her. What is that going to help her in the long run? Also you’ll have the whole class against you. Think about them as well. How would you feel if you did nothing wrong, but had to sit detention, because someone else couldn’t tell the truth.

It all depends on reasoning… some people may not care for detention. i woul, i never had one… but do you think its the right thing to do?? would your friend lie for you?? what if a classmate lied for his/her friends and you got in some kind of trouble?? ….. you to think this one through…. im just saying… to do the right thing… not what you think is right fair or just plain cool.

Friends come & go…I learned that the hard way! (I always put my friends & family first & myself last…so trust me I know what that is like. not even worth the hassle unless they are really worth it!)

If you are her friend, tell her to be a real friend & confess to what she did so at least not all of u get detention for it…perhaps the principal will see it in good faith bcz she did the right thing rather then hurting the whole class! That is what a real true friend would do to protect her classmates. Now if she is a selfish person & would rather see everyone punished for her BS then I wouldnt even consider her a friend in the first place. All she cares about is her damn self & that is just plain selfish right there…so screw savin her !ss while getting everyone else caught up in her BS. I would tell her to suck it up & take it like a man! :P

i think if it is something major yuu need to tell yur friend to tell the truth if yur friend did it she can take her time its like that old saying “dont do the crime if yu cant do the time” im only 16 & i knw the right from erong its all in wat yuu do o

No you should never lie for anyone when you do you always having to tell a lie to cover up another lie soon or latter you always get caught up in the lie .it is better to just tell the truth even if it makes your friend mad.

no. If you really are her friend then as much as you think that is wrong, you need to now she needs to learn her lesson. She’s your friend, but are you willing to punish everybody because of the lie your friend made? Think about everybody else too.
