Are there any LEGIT websites where you can enter a small art contest?

I would like to find a website that has contests, where you can go to paint, gimp, photoshop, whatever you want to use….and make some kind of picture on whatever that particular contest was about. Then, if yours is picked best out of everyone’s, or ranked 2nd or 3rd place…you get some sort of reward.

I’m looking for some type of group thing, not exactly world wide or anything…but I will check out any website similar to what I am talking about.

I participated in a group before that was like this, but it was on a game…I want to find an actual website that does this.

Anyone know of anything?

deviantArt is a good site where groups host contests which you can enter and you might win.

I agree that deviantart.com is a good site. I go there a lot.
