What is a legit way to get noticed on YouTube?

I have been trying for years to get noticed on YouTube and have never had any luck. I have tried a variety of videos which have all been completely different and finally I’ve stuck to gaming. I have 20 subscribers and only 95 video views (altogether). Despite the fact I only have so many subscribers and views, I still constantly make videos just because I find it fun! I love doing it and literally can’t stop XD! I don’t want to do any “Sub 4 Sub” things because I don’t want to be earning subscribers for the sake of having them, I want them because they enjoy my videos and actually want to be subscribed to me.. The best way to get noticed on Youtube is to make a lot of videos. Spread out your posting of the videos to one or two every day to keep your name out there.

Some other ways to get noticed on Youtube include:

  • Like, comment and subscribe to other channels that have similar content
  • Keep the video content similar across the board. If you have comedy video than make other comedy videos to keep it consistent.
  • Use catchy phrases as the title for the videos.
  • Use words in the title and in the description that are most commonly searched for that relate to your niche.
  • Use the “tag” section by filling it with all the main keywords.
  • Allow viewers to comment, make video responses and share the video with others

Market your videos to websites or blogs that have similar themes to yours. If your videos are about funny things dogs do than share the links to your videos on dog and pet forums and blogs.

  • Squidoo
  • Google+
