Well I guess if you can get one then it would not be illegal, but you have to consider your religion, ask your parents and see if they oppose to the situation. My aunt has a parrot in my home country, she isn’t supposed to have it because they are rare birds, but she has had it for nearly 9 years now. No one has said anything.
