Leaving home

How old do you have to be to move out of your mama house if you have a baby?

Answer #1

depends like in Canada its 16 but if you have a baby, you can like pay half the rent with someone and because in Canada the gouverment gives you 500 a month when you move out alone I dont know how it is in the US

Answer #2
  1. To move out any earlier would mean that you would have to get permission from your parents or be emancipated.

Just because you have a child doesn’t mean that you aren’t a child.

Answer #3

You could move out at any age, but we can’t b/c we don’t have money. In your case, you’ll need more in order to care for the baby. I don’t know what your situation is, but if you’re thinking of moving out you could plan it 4-6 mos. ahead of time and get a job and start saving. Good luck!

Answer #4

Normally 18 unless the parents are OK with it, but with a baby, it might vary by state.

I agree with ally. WHY? If this is for someone who is still in her teen years (esp. if younger than 18), I hope that they will consider giving the baby up for adoption. No home, no job, no support structure means no hope and no future for the child. Good Luck!!

(This is a depressing question!)
