17 and residing in WV. if I left with only 1.5 months til my 18th birthday to another state with a 24 year old guy.. What cld my parents do about it? What kind of charges ect, any advice on how to get away with it?
It doesnt matter what you do, he'll still be in jail... it doesnt matter that you will be 18 in a few weeks, what matters is that you are not 18 right now, and your boyfriend can be arrested... on federal charges... like you know, federal prison? oh and yes, they will do it. You know, minors have sex with adults, adults get locked up for years? Even after the minor turns to legal age and asks for his release? Yes well, have fun with your boyfriend in jail. Not sure where you're going to live in the meanwhile...
IF you are underage in WV, they could send the police after you, as well as have your boyfriend convicted of felony child sex offense, and he could spend the rest of his life on a sex offender list. The age of majority is different in different states, so if there is any question, wait until you are 18. If he is THE ONE, he will wait, and if he won't wait, then he was NEVER the one. Taking a child across state lines is a federal offense. If he really wants to risk getting charged because he couldnt wait 6 weeks... No, there's nothing you can do to "get away with it". You're almost 18, anything legal would be pointless at this point, you'd turn 18 by the time they got around to it...
Even with just only a little over a month? They'll do something like that? I'd just go right back if they brought me back? &hes waited almost a year alreadyy lol.. Its just my home life suhhks &im tired off the bullshizzle.
