What are some good things to do to learn how to use your laptop?

I have a pc and a smartphone and I hardly ever use them except to get on this site, what can I do to want to use the internet more

If you are looking for things to do on the internet, there is a lot. You can subscribe to your favorite news source (almost all major media outlets have their own website, and most have online subscriptions.) You can join a social networking site. You can make, and track a family tree. You can sell/buy stuff. You can watch music videos. You can catch up on old TV shows.

If you are looking for how to use the internet, Internet Explorer has a “help” function at the top directley under your address bar. I am not sure if Firefox has this function, but it would be the same type of thing. You may also want to check your local Park District. Most offer some sort of class in Computers and the internet.

The best thing you can do to learn about your laptop is to play around with it. When I got my laptop I just played around with it. Try playing some of the free games that come with it, open up some of the programs to see what they do, etc. I pretty much just click random buttons to see what my computer has to offer, just a little exploring. If you’re talking about exploring the internet, you could always try Googling random things and seeing what comes up.
