Are there any laws against this?

I know laws differ from where you live. But I dont like disclosing my location, so lets say in general laws of canada. If i were to teach an art class to children do I need a license, or contract? Im a teenager. I was going to ask my principal if I could hold the classes in my schools art room, by giving the school part of the profit. Is there going to be any difficulties for me doing this?

You can teach, but the kids wouldn’t receive grades or credits for it. If you’re looking to actually make money off this, you may need a business permit (you’d have to inquire with Canada Revenue)

To be honest, I don’t see why parents would pay you to teach art to their children when they are receiving that education in school already at no additional cost - when choosing to start a business, you need to first make sure there is a market for it.
