Laser eye treatment

Does laser eye treatment hurt or what? I watched the video of it and water coming out of somenones eyes and stuff

I have had lazer surgery and it doesn’t hurt at all. They put drops in your eyes to numb them, then they put this thing in your eye to hold it open ( that was a little uncomfortable but not painful), then they tell you to look at the red light. The whole time they were doing it I didn’t feel a thing, as a matter of fact if I didn’t smell the burning I wouldn’t have even known they were doing anything because you can’t see anything but the red light. Immediately after I could see perfect for the first time in 22 years. It was the best thing I have ever done. Some people get a little irritated after because it makes your eyes dry and feel like you have sand in them, but I never did. They give you eyes drops that you have to use for a week, and you have to wear goggles to bed for a week ( that was the only thing that sucked, lol).

I’ve heard its real painless, apparently you can smell it burning away there but cant really feel it I dread to think what burning eye smells like though!

I haven’t had it, but I know of a couple people who have and they said it was nothing…they both went back to work the next day.
