Fish don’t get pregnant they lay eggs. They are carrying eggs and ready to lay them to be fertilized. The only fish that get pregnant are whales,dolphins, sharks and porposes but they are mammels.

Um Im sorry there are many live bearing fish that get pregnant. Also sharks are not mammals!!! They are fish. The length of pregnancy depends on the fish though. Molly fish can retain sperm for up to six months and have a litter of up to 80 each month!
