Keloids?

Keloids are overgrowths of fibrous tissue or scars that can occur after an injury to the skin. These heavy scars are also called cheloid or hypertrophic scars. In individuals prone to keloids, even minor traumas to the skin, such as ear piercing, can cause keloids.

some operations like cesarean op. forms keloid w/c is a type of scar its kinda big.. it depends on the operation or the cut or whatever..

Basically,if you pierce yourself and do it wrong,when it heals,it will have extra scar tissue,which is also called a keloid.
