Keeping hair beutiful

I need tips and products for keeping my hair lush, shiney, and healthy.the products should cost under $20 each.If the stuff is cheap and works that would be great:) If you live in bastrop TX and know products in bastrop your advice would be very helpful.I like the salons conditionig treatment.I am a short haired brunette with blond highlights.I like to keep my hair strait and curved in at the bottom.I use a lot of heat with the hair iron.My hair type is normal, not to oily not to dry.

natural henna. search it ^ on google. really cheap , usually in pharmacies or drug stores. you put it on your hair like hair dye, keep it for like an hour, & then rinse it off. They also have hair dyes like that, but its natural. I just did mine & its great ^_^

Well Garnier works great for me! and when you use the straightener make sure you use gel, or moose so that it doesn’t dry out your ends. also health food stores have shampoo’s sometimes, but I am not sure how cheap they are, but its worth checking out! Also I know this sounds weird but washing your hair with 1/4 a cup of vinegar and 3/4 water , well help get off any shampoo or conditioner crud that is in your hair. I recommend using it once a month. and pretty much prevents you from getting lice!

Straighteners will dry out your hair, so make sure not to use shampoo that contains sodium laureth sulfate, which strips hair of it’s natural oils. WARNING: MOST SHAMPOOS CONTAIN SODIUM LAURETH SULFATE. Dove, Pantene, Suave, Garnier, TRESemme, L’Oreal (except the L’Oreal Everpure line). If you have a Trader Joe’s or Henry’s grocery stores nearby, they have plenty of natural shampoos. And Burt’s Bees shampoo bars are good, too.

Buy a nice, moisturizing, natural conditioner such as Say Yes to Carrots, Tomatoes, Cucumbers conditioner or Giovanni condiioner (both available at drugstores). Use styling products that don’t contain silicones (any word ending in -cone).

Hope that helped!
