Josef Mengele?

Does anyone know how to pronounce Josef Mengele’s last name? I’m pretty sure it’s meng-el-eh, but I don’t really know. I took some german class so that’s why I think that, but I don’t know if they have exceptions on how things sound like the english language does or what. :]

I don’t know who that is… and you may be right, but the name does look familiar and if I’m correct, I believe his last name is pronounced Meng ell.. but I’m not sure.

He was the doctor at the Auchwitz death camp during the holocaust. He did all those sick experiments on people. Thanks, I hope you’re right. I’m naming my kitten after him and so I don’t want to pronounce it wrong aha
