-Resturants -Clothing Stores -Wal-Mart -Target -Rite-Aid -Walgreens -Fastfood Places -Any store in the Mall -Daycare’s -Water Parks -Theme Parks -Birthday Places

A lot of jobs hire 16 year olds, but not a lot of good jobs. Sonic McDonalds Fast Food in general POSSIBLY a place like Wall Mart IF you’re lucky, a restaurant

You just have to be responsible! The more responsible, and presentable you look, the better chance you have at getting a good job.

There will always be work - the question is, will you be willing to do that work for the money that it will pay?

Decide what you are willing to do, and what you want to be paid. Then, go through the newspapers to see if any of the ads interest you. Remember that you are 16 and may not have a lot of skills to offer. Capitalize on your enthusiasm and energy, your willingness to learn and to start small. If the papers don’t pan out, start walking, Go to every business that might interest you. Carry some extra resumes. Talk to the managers - they know the kind of people they need, and they may know someone else who needs a new employee. Be clean, neat, presentable. No scabby, dirty clothes. Light on makeup and perfumes. No dark glasses. Remember, people will form first impressions before you even speak to them. You have to get past the first impression in order to convince them that you are worthy of working for them! And, if you are willing to work, there will be someone willing to hire you!
