Job interview hair

When you have a job interview, is it best to pull your hair back or leave it down?

Answer #1

How you dress and present yourself is more important than “just” your hair. Dress professionally and appropriately. Look in the mirror beforehand or ask a parent/trusted adult. Would YOU hire me?

Be enthusiastic, friendly, and polite. I interview people all the time and their attitude is a key factor in whether they get the job or not.

Final tip: Manners! I can’t tell you how impressive it is when a job applicant comes in and actually says “Yes, Sir” , even when it isn’t required. It’s extremely rare these days and it WILL be noticed!

Answer #2

It has to look as neat as possible (usually this is pulled up), but it depends on your hair really.

Answer #3

It depends on the job interview as well. I was interviewed for a regular sales associate job and I wore my hair down. I was interview for an office job and I wore it down as well, but my hair is very straight so it looked very neat.

Now it depends on your hair. My hair was two-toned (my hair was dark brown and on the very bottom, it was bleach blond) when I got the job I have now so I had it up in a bun to keep from any distraction. “Business in the front. Party in the back.” LOL. But eventually I had it down whenever cause my boss was whatever about it. So it all depends! :)
