Job ideas for ex-felon?

Hey everyone, my boyfriend just recently was released from the Sacramento County Jail and is in desperate need of a job. He’s looking like crazy and is having zero luck. As his girlfriend, I feel like I need to help in some way. So if anyone has any ideas..please let me know. Anything would be helpful.

Correct me if I have this wrong, because I admittedly know little about how this works, but that means he was not convicted of a felony, right? If that is the case, employers probably would not even ask about it on an application.

No, he’s a convicted felon. And nearly every job employer does background checks now and days.. it would be greatly appreciated if anyone knew of places that hire felons..or just job titles in general. I mentioned Con-way Trucking.. I heard from a source that that was a good places to start. Although, trucking usually invovles leaving the state, which he can not do. Any ideas?
