Italy is predominately Catholic as the Vatican City is there, Argentina is also Catholic whereas Germany is relatively balanced between Catholic and Protestant.

Germany is about 30% Catholic Christian, 30% Lutheranian-Protestant Christian 30% non-religious people and 10% Other religions such as Muslims, Jews, Buddhists, Neo-Paganists, Hindus, Greek Orthodox Christians and so on.

West and south Germany are mostly Roman-Catholic. North and East Germany are prevailingly Lutheranian-Protestant.
